About My Project

The Heart of Life...

My Girl Scout Gold Award project addresses the orphanages in Mexico and the quality of life the children who stay there have. The impact I will make is to bring joy to the children of the Casa Esperanza orphanage who desperately needed the new floor in their central living area. In this way, I hope to renovate and renew this orphanage's "heart" with new life.

During the course of my project I performed fund raising, project planning and participated in the renovation work at the orphanage site, in addition to spreading the word on my cause and educating the public on the plight of the orphans of Mexico.
